OSK is a small non-profit Christian childcare center. We are state licensed, YoungStar rated and we participate in the DPI food program. We offer full time daycare, along with preschool classes for ages 2-5.. Our staff is a team of certified assistant and lead teachers who have a combined experience of over 30 years working with children of all ages.
Programs
Doves
(6 weeks - 2-years)
We offer full time care for infants. All of our teachers are trained in SIDS prevention, shaken baby syndrome prevention, head trauma, child abuse and neglect laws, and infant and child first aid and CPR. We begin teaching in the classroom with a short circle time everyday leading into art projects and sensory.
Chickadees
(2-years - 3 Years Old)
The Chickadee room is a classroom for 18 month-3 years old. Our curriculum features monthly themes that are broken up into weekly mini themes. Each morning, the Chicks start their day with circle time as a large group where they read books, sing songs, practice color recognition, and learn to recognize opposites, and shapes. After circle time, they break into smaller groups where they focus on small motor skills such as cutting, stringing beads, and sorting. This class also likes to have fun with pretend play, block building, music and movement, and sensory.
Eagles
(3-5 Years Old)
The Eagle room is for children 3-5 years old. The curriculum in this room focuses on 4-K and Kindergarten readiness. We use Concordia One In Christ curriculum. There is a monthly theme with weekly mini-themes, a letter of the alphabet every week, two shapes and two colors each month, science and math activities, daily circle time (calendar, weather, name recognition, etc.), children also work on writing skills, cutting, along with writing and spelling their name.
Summer Program
(6 weeks - 13 Years Old)
Our Saviors Kids offer a summer program for children from 6 weeks to 13 years of age. The summer curriculum for the children every week will be a theme of events happening in the area. (Example: Fair, Circus, Etc.) Children will do many types of activities such as crafts, learning skills, outdoor activities, and various field trips through out the Baraboo area.
